If you are considering having your maternity or family photos at the Arnold Arboretum, I hope this blog convinces you! The Arnold Arboretum is located in Boston, MA and is a beautiful spot for photos. If you can catch the lilacs or the cherry blossoms blooming in the spring you won’t be disappointed. As a Boston maternity photographer I love photographing in the spring once the grass has grown in a bit and the blooms are coming to life. It’s also when I feel like I, myself are coming back to life as well. Coming out of the New England winter is such a nice feeling. The days are getting longer, the temperature is rising. All good things in my book.
The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful spot to showcase this special time in your life. The only downside to consider is that this is a super popular spot for photos, so you might find yourself waiting to use a certain spot or location. However, with my style of photography I tend to begin my sessions at a slightly earlier time than many other photographers, so I’m not often competing too hard for photo spots!
That’s the beauty of finding your own unique style as a photographer. As I’ve been working as a photographer for over 4 years I’ve narrowed down my style, what time of day I like to start sessions and what types of locations I know will be in alignment with my style.
